İsmail H. Altaş received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız University Kocaeli Faculty of Engineering, in 1985, and his master's degree from Karadeniz Technical University, Türkiye, in 1988. He has completed his doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering in the University of New Brunswick, Canada in 1993.
He worked in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University from 1986 to 2024 and joined OSTİM Technical University as a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in December 2024.
He continues his research on modeling and control of power systems, renewable energy systems, microgrids, automatic control, intelligent control, fuzzy decision making, artificial intelligence applications in power systems and cybersecurity in microgrids.

Prof. Dr. İsmail AVCIBAŞ

İsmail Avcıbaş received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Uludağ University, Department of Electronic Engineering in 1992 and 1994, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from Boğaziçi University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2001. Dr. Avcıbaş's research interests are in information forensics and security. He has pioneered the development of universal obfuscation analysis methods and has been a consultant to the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and TÜBİTAK. His research projects on forensics of digital objects have been supported by TÜBİTAK and NSF.

Prof. Dr. Eduge Mirzahan HIZAL

He is a 1969 graduate of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1973 from the University of Manchester, England. He was the Secretary of the Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). He was also the project advisor and project director of SAVTAK projects at TÜBİTAK. Prof. Dr. Mirzahan Hızal is the Director General of HIZAL High Voltage (HIZAL Yüksek Gerilim) Ltd. He has been an academician at the METU since 1979.

Prof. Dr. Yalçın ATA
He received his bachelor's degree from Karadeniz Technical University (1998), his master's degree from Gebze Technical University (2000) and his doctorate from Gazi University (2010). He worked in defense and space projects at Istanbul Ulaşım AŞ, TÜBİTAK SAGE and TÜBİTAK UZAY. He became an associate professor in 2017. He specializes in optical communication, modulation techniques and infrared sensors. He speaks English and intermediate Russian.

Prof. Dr. Volodymyr YURCHENKO

Volodymyr Yurchenko received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute (KhPI), Kharkiv, USSR (currently, National Technical University “KhPI”, Kharkiv, Ukraine) in 1980 and 1984, respectively, and D.Sc. from O. I. Usykov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IRE NASU), Kharkiv, Ukraine, in 1994.
He has held research and teaching positions at the NTU “KhPI” and IRE NASU, Bilkent University, National University of Ireland Maynooth (NUIM), and participated in TUBITAK-EU Co-Funded Brain Circulation Scheme and TUBITAK-BIDEB Programs at the Engitek Engineering Technologies Ltd, Gazi University, and Middle East Technical University (METU) in Turkey. At the NUIM, he developed a unique ultra-fast electromagnetic simulation software for advanced physical-optics modeling of dual-reflector sub-mm wave telescope on the ESA Planck Surveyor for Cosmic Microwave Background mapping. As a Team Member of the ESA Planck project, he is a co-recipient of the 2018 Gruber Cosmology Prize (https://gruber.yale.edu/prize/2018-gruber-cosmology-prize).
His research interests include solid state physics, semiconductor theory, electronic devices, hot-electron plasma and instabilities, microwave generation, physical optics, mm-wave photonics, wave propagation and antenna simulations.

Dr. Hüseyin KÖSE

He completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2009. He did his master's and doctorate studies in the fields of power electronics and embedded control at Gazi University Institute of Science and Technology between 2009-2020. Between 2009-2021, he worked as an R&D unit engineer and manager in a private company. He is well-equipped to design and manufacture power electronics products such as rectifiers, inverters, UPS, switching converters and to carry out R&D projects in these fields.

Dr. Şenol GÜLGÖNÜL

After graduating from Bilkent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering, he completed his master's degree at Gebze Institute of Technology and his doctorate at Sakarya University Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He took part in important projects in Turkey's technological development such as TURNET internet infrastructure, Türksat 1A-1B, Türksat 3A, Türksat-3 USAT, Türksat 6A satellite programs, Türksat Observatory, Türksat Atomic Clock and National Positioning System, Altay National Battle Tank. He continues to work on control, embedded systems, FPGA, positioning systems, satellite communications and artificial intelligence.

He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electronics and Communication in September 2022. In October of the same year, he started his master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ostim Technical University. In 2023, he started working as a research assistant at the same university.

Fatih Mercan graduated from Başkent University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2021. In 2022, he started his Master's studies and worked as a Research Assistant at the same institution from 2022 to 2024. His current research is on audio and video processing using artificial intelligence.

In July 2022, he graduated from Bursa Technical University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering as an honor student. He did his undergraduate project titled “Material coating research and application on overhead line conductors for ice load minimization” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Musa Aydın. Within the scope of Workplace Training, he worked as a project engineer in a private factory on power and signaling distribution systems. In October of the same year, he started his master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ostim Technical University.

In February 2024, he started the EEE Master's Program at Ostim Technical University and started working as a research assistant in May of the same year.
