Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the fundamental engineering fields in the world. Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an indispensable part of our daily lives with its applications in the production, transmission and consumption phases of electrical energy and automation, communication, biomedical, computer and transportation applications.

Developments in energy generation, transmission and distribution technologies, incredible changes in communication technologies, breakthroughs in the field of industrial automation, the involvement of medical electronics in our lives every day, incredible increases in computer capacity and speed constantly increase the importance of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Clean energy applications, wired, wireless communication, cloud storage, artificial intelligence applications, information technologies, smart decision makers, integrated circuits, microprocessors, electric vehicles, energy storage and micro-electric networks, which are part of continuous development, are some of the applications that have accelerated and will continue to accelerate in recent years.

Looking at the developments, it is seen that Electrical and Electronics Engineering is constantly gaining importance. This situation is important for our graduates and should be evaluated well. The path will always be open for our graduates who raise themselves well, take their education seriously, follow the lessons, learn and are full of information.

Our students who have completed their high school education and stepped into university should be aware that they have now entered the maturity phase and should not forget that they are individuals who approach each other with respect, can carry out joint studies in tolerance, and are prone to teamwork. They will now be graduates who have set a goal for themselves within the OSTİM Technical University community, try to reach this goal in the right ways, comply with professional ethical behaviors and standards, are sensitive to the environment, and are full of desire to learn.

OSTİM Technical University, as a university established and growing within the ecosystem of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), is intertwined with the industry. Its founding partners are the dynamics of this industrial zone and make significant contributions to the university. Being in the middle of the industry provides a significant advantage not only in undergraduate education but also in graduate education. OSTIM OSB, which has been the locomotive in all industrial areas of Turkey for years, has set goals for Turkey's economy and technology, which are also the goals of our department. This situation plays a key role in training engineers focused on industry.

Do not forget that being a successful engineer is not a goal that can be achieved by force. For this reason, everything has been prepared for our students to become productive engineers at world standards with a sense of responsibility. The necessary curriculum and infrastructure studies are carried out in a way that is suitable for today's conditions and ready for the future in continuous improvement.
